Come Home
A Solo Journaling TTRPG About Perseverance, Memory, and the Unknown
You are an autonomous child’s toy. Humanity is long gone. The world is quiet. And then—a signal.
It comes from your owner’s communicator, a voice you remember, calling you home. But who—or what—activated it? What are you truly walking toward?
Come Home is a game of endless perseverance. You journey forward through an abandoned world, rolling on a d100 prompt table that guides your discoveries, challenges, and fading memories. But time does not flow as it should. The past flickers into the present. The signal warps. Your body and mind begin to break down.
You track three fragile resources: 🔋 Battery – How much power you have left. ⚙️ Mechanical Integrity – How well your body holds together. 🧠 Cognitive Processing – How clearly you understand reality.
Each depletion warps your experience, changing how you interact with the world. If all three are drained, you shut down. The signal fades.
There is no victory, no clear ending—only the choice to continue or stop. Do you have the perseverance to keep going?
How to Play
📜 Roll a d100 and consult the prompt table. 📝 Write a journal entry based on what happens. ⚡ Adjust your resource meters as you endure the journey. 🔁 Repeat—until the toy can no longer continue. The journey never truly ends. Only pauses. The signal waits for you.
